St Albans Cathedral Welcome & Learning Centre – RIBA East Winner 2021
We were delighted to hear that Simpson & Brown has won two RIBA Awards for St Albans Cathedral Welcome and Learning Centre! Winning the award for RIBA East 2021 and RIBA East Conservation Award 2021.
Cragg Management were appointed as Project Manager and Contract Administrator. The project works included:
The creation of a new Welcome Centre that includes retail space, and interpretation and exhibition areas
Refurbishment and alterations to the Chapter House, providing educational spaces, accessibility improvements to all levels, and washroom facilities
Interpretation throughout
Landscape works
