Project Overview
Description
Jacksons Lane is a community focused theatre and community arts venue in Highgate, North London. It provides social opportunities for a diverse range of user groups and communities including arts events, workshops and circus skills.
Located in a Grade II listed former church, the building includes a theatre with an audience capacity of 166, one large and four small studio spaces, backstage and office space and a foyer/café/bar. The project involved the renovation, modernisation and retrofitting of the multi-use spaces.
Our role
We acted as Project Managers throughout the development and delivery stages, leading the renovation works to ensure the building’s heritage significance was carefully protected while introducing modern, accessible and sustainable facilities. This included coordinating consultants, managing programme and risk, overseeing statutory approvals, and maintaining close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver a sensitive yet forward-looking transformation aligned with conservation and operational objectives.
