Our Role

We were appointed to manage the development and delivery of this heritage and cultural project, leading the funding, statutory approvals and project coordination through to construction. Our role included securing NLHF Round Two funding and planning permission, and overseeing the transformation of the existing building into a vibrant public-facing museum.

Project Details

The project involves the comprehensive conversion and repurposing of an underused retail building to create a high-quality cultural venue designed to engage diverse audiences.

The works include:

Creation of a new highly visible street frontage

Full accessibility to all floors

Bespoke interpretation and exhibition spaces

Museum shop and café

Dedicated education and learning spaces

The scheme has been designed to provide an immersive visitor experience while meeting modern accessibility, operational and environmental standards.

Funding & Programme

The project is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, with Round Two funding and planning permission successfully secured. Construction is currently on site, with completion due by the end of 2025.

Related Project
