Project Details:
The restoration of a Scheduled Ancient Monument including new visitor access making the site accessible for all. The works also include full reinterpretation and display of the site to the public. An exciting new education programme opened this site up to local schools and other local youth organisations.
This project involved the research and preparation of a detailed Activity Plan to bring to life the relevance of the Priory to the history of the region and the nation whilst also carrying out detailed and extensive repairs to the ruins. New pathways and extensive public engagement increased the visitor numbers and the understanding of this important monument.
